Inconnu premieres in Algiers

For a first film, one moment matters more than any other: the first screening in front of a real audience. For Inconnu, that moment happened in Algiers.

Directed by Ahmed Zitouni from a script by Hakim Traidia, this 14-minute short was born within Let's Make Your Film. Nardjes Asli stars.

The premiere is the culmination of the whole journey: selection, writing, pre-production, the shoot, then weeks of editing, colour grading and mixing. It's also the start of a new life for the film, which then goes out to meet audiences across the cinematheque network and at festivals.
